We as grownups knows how painful a toothache can be. Just imagine how painful it is for a child to have a toothache. So we are going to explain some helpful ideas that will help us understand just what we can do for our kids and their toothaches.
How To Help Relief a Toothache
Toothaches can cause stress in both the parent and child. You will first need to find out which tooth is hurting. Ways you can do this is have your child if old enough point in the area to what tooth is hurting them.
If they're not old enough to advise you, You will need to look for swelling and redness of the gums or discoloration of the tooth. There are many different things that we can do to help get rid of their toothache. Applying a cold compress on the outer side of where the tooth is hurting can ease the pain.
Having some leftover food stuck in between their teeth is another thing that can cause a toothache. You could have them floss their teeth to get rid of the food particulars that may be stuck causing the tooth to hurt.
Salt water is also another thing that we could try to help get rid of their toothache. Just add about a half of a teaspoon of sea salt to boiling water and stir, once it reaches room temperature have them to swish it around in their mouth for about thirty-five seconds and spit it back out.
