Ways of Getting Your Children to Drink More Water Are you running out of options on how to get your child to drink more water? Some people have a very hard time getting their child to drink the water that they need to drink.

There are many different ways to add flavor to their water to make them drink it better. It is very important to make sure they a lot drink water if they are active. Our bodies lose water through many different things we do, like sweating and breathing. Here are a few things that you can add to water to, to make your kids enjoy drinking more water.

Tips for Getting Your Child to Drink More Water

You as a parent might have a hard time following these rules too. We all like our soda, tea, and coffee. Kids usually do what we do, so if they see us drinking more water than soda, they might, too. You can also try using frozen fruit instead of ice cubes in their water.

You can try to add lemon or berries to their water. Some kids may like flavored water better than regular water. You can also go and find them a cup that they will like a lot and put water in them, let them have their special cup.

Maybe talk to them about how important the water is for their body. You can set rewards to try and get them to drink more water. Maybe reward them with a sticker, tell them once they get so many stickers, then they can get a better surprise. Don't have to make it something real big, just make it something they will enjoy.
